You can notify Service Canada – The Income Security Programs ) by:
 

• Writing to Service Canada
• Telephoning (change of address requests can be made 24/7, Touch-Tone phone required)

To have your address changed, you must provide:
 

• Your social insurance number
   
• Your new address
   
• Your postal code
   
• Your telephone number and area code

Note

The procedure is the same for the allowance for the survivor, the allowance and the Old Age Security Pension. If you receive more than one of these amounts, be sure to say so when you have your address changed.
